INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS CHOOSE TIMOTHY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

If we are to function as world citizens we need to get to know people from other countries who bring a different understanding and perspective to the world than those of us who live in the U.S.A.  Both the American student and the international student will gain a better understanding of each other by being educated together.  This is a wonderful opportunity to impact the world right in our school!

  • Broadens the life of our students as they interact with those from another country.
  • Stretches our students in their social skills by means of extending their outreach to others.
  • Familiarizes foreign students with the benefits of living in a democracy, in America.
  • Sensitizes our students to cultural differences.
  • Prepares our students to extend themselves.
  • Enhances our students at Timothy by providing the opportunity for partnering in the gospel by sharing their faith in Jesus Christ with our international students.

At Timothy Christian School we have coordinated host-homes for over 90 international students.  This gives Timothy Christian School:

  • Cultural diversity – Parental and Institutional leadership see a value in developing a student body that looks more like the population with which students will need to interact when they leave their campus.
  • Marketing – Parents are increasingly looking for safe opportunities for their children to experience diversity.
  • Accreditation – The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools offers an “International Credential.”
  • The International Credential –Recognizes the unique international character of an institution and acknowledges how it is effectively advancing the quality of the international educational experience it offers its students.

Timothy Christian School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies,
scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
